FREE AMIGURUMI PATTERN: Bruno Bear


PLEASE,BE GENTLE, WHEN YOU GRAB THIS PATTERN LEAVE ME A COMMENT!!!!

Materials:

• 2 mm hook
• Beige wool (for 3 mm rows)
• Chocolate wool (for 3 mm rows)
• Safety eyes 6mm
• Needle, scissors
• Polyfill as stuffing

Abbreviations:

• Sc_single crochet
• Rd_round
• St_stitches
• Ch_chain
• Dc_decrease
• Sl st_slip stitches
• Hdc_half duble crochet
• Sk_skip


Bruno’s head

Start a magic ring with beige yarn.
Rd1 work 6 sc into a centre of the ring.
Rd2 [2 sc in each st around]
Rd3 [sc in next 1st, work 2 sc in the next st] repeat 6 times
Rd4 [sc in next 2st, work 2 sc in the next st] repeat 6 times
Rd5 [sc in next 3st, work 2 sc in the next st] repeat 6 times
Rd6 [sc in next 4st, work 2 sc in the next st] repeat 6 times
Rd 7-8-9 work around
Rd 10 [sc in next 5st, work 2 sc in the next st] repeat 6 times
Rd 11-12-13 work around
Rd 14 [sc in next 6st, work 2 sc in the next st] repeat 6 times
Rd 15 [sc in next 7st, work 2 sc in the next st] repeat 6 times
Stuff !!
Rd 16[sc in next 8st, work 2 sc in the next st] repeat 6 times
Rd17 [sc in next 8st, dec 1 in the next st] repeat 6 times
Rd18 [sc in next 7st, dec 1 in the next st] repeat 6 times
Rd19[sc in next 6st, dec 1 in the next st] repeat 6 times
Rd20[ sc in next 5st, dec 1 in the next st] repeat 6 times
Rd21 [sc in next 4st, dec 1 in the next st] repeat 6 times
Put the safety eyes in position.
Stuff !!
Rd22 [sc in next 3st, dec 1 in the next st] repeat 6 times
Rd23[sc in next 2st, dec 1 in the next st] repeat 6 times
Rd24[sc in next 1st, dec 1 in the next st] repeat 6 times
Finish with a slst
Look at the big picture and embroydery the nose and the eyebrows with chocolate yarn.

Bruno’s ears:
Start with a magic ring with beige yarn .
Rd1 work 6 sc into a centre of the ring.
Finish with a slst and and cut with a long tail.
Repeat for 2 times.
Bruno’s arms:
Start with a magic ring with beige yarn.
Rd1 work 5 sc into a centre of the ring.
Rd2 [2sc in each st around]
Rd3-16 work around
Finish with a slst and and cut with a long tail.
Repeat all 2 times.

Bruno’s legs:
Start with a magic ring with beige yarn.
Legs A:
Rd1 work 6 sc into a centre of the ring.
Rd2 [2 sc in each st around]
Rd3-16 work around and finish with sl st.
Stuff !!
Cut yarn with a long tail.
Legs B:
Rd1 work 6 sc into a centre of the ring.
Rd2 [2 sc in each st around]
Rd3-16 work around and finish with a sl st.
Stuff !!
Don’t cut the yarn!!!!!
Rd17 merge the legs together: insert the hook into first st after slst made on leg A and continue to make 1 sc in all 12 st.
Insert the hook back into the leg B and work 1 sc in all 12 st.
One round is completed with 24 sc!!!!
With the tail from leg A close the gap between two legs.

Bruno’s chest:

Rd18-33 work around and finish with sl st.

Assembly:
Sew the arms and the head to the body using the long tail.
Sew the ears to head using the long tail.
If you want make some chain with the chocolate yarn to make the Bruno’s hair.
Finito!!!!!!

  7. Lovely little pattern,making for the BearCat,he's a German Shep who thinks he's a cat,grew up with 7 'em,the name seemed apropo. Adding a squeaker too,thanks so much. Mabe make one in each color of rainbow....8-)

  12. I made both Moko and Bruno for my nephews for christmas. i added to the patterns a little bit by giving Moko white tips on his paws and tail and using green instead of orange and made Bruno blue with with a white circle on his belly. They are too cute!!!

  30. I want to make Bruno for my daughter. I just have one question? Starting in Row 17, the Dec 1 in next stitch, how exactly is that done? do I skip a stitch or use 2??

  57. hi, this is a gorgeous lil bear. im making him for a friends new baby.
    Wondering how is the best way to join the body to the head. not sure whether to stitch the opening closed and then attach somehow to the head??
    oh and probably an obvious one but did you stuff the body?
    guess ill just figure it out and see how I go...

  64. For the head, rounds 7-8-9, you wrote "work around". Does this mean do the same thing as round 6 for those rounds... or does it mean just sc in each st, all the way around, three times?
